Movie at the MET: Apollo 13

On the eve of the anniversary of one of NASA’s most dramatic missions, join The MET in downtown Martinsville to experience Apollo 13 on the big screen!  Directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Paxton, this gripping true story recounts the harrowing 1970 lunar mission that turned from a routine flight into a fight for survival. When an onboard explosion cripples the spacecraft, three astronauts and the team on the ground must work together to bring the crew safely home.

Movie begins at 7 pm on Friday, April 10; doors open one hour before showtime.
